About The Author:
Hello! I’m Susan Pokorny. I’ve been a trainer for over 30 years in the wellness industry teaching thousands of students how to tap into their own potential and be their best in all they do. I also research and write about natural living at Pure Home and Body bringing you inspiration for a better, healthier way of life in every part of your being: mind, body and spirit.
In addition to raising my own children, I’m an advocate for women and children’s wellness initiatives locally and abroad in service to support anti-trafficking efforts, survivor support and integrating healthy living principles as a compliment to traditional therapies.
I’ve been blessed with six children, 8-21 years old, and a supportive husband who values the importance of building strong families and communities through whole living. We’ve served together in adult, student and children’s ministry for over 15 years. I’m passionate about supporting teens and women, inspiring us all to be our best so we can leave an imprint on other’s lives through healthy life-giving relationships.
My journey to deeper healing has crossed into all these dimensions and I look forward to sharing tools with you to find healing in your own life.
I’m also an ERYT, (Experienced, Registered Yoga Teacher with 1000+ yoga teaching hours) and have specialty certifications in Trauma Sensitive Holy Yoga, Thai Bodywork, Pilates and Aromatherapy. I’ve held workshops and speaking engagements at corporate lunch and learns, women’s groups, schools, clinics, health clubs, yoga studios and churches. Connect with me!
